As part of the 2nd Global Open Source Circular Economy days, with more than 70 cities taking part around the world, join us as part of the London event at the wonderful Machines Room for a practical collaborative day of learning and creating!
We’ll be looking at developing and compiling open guidance, tools and resources for shared community spaces wanting to go more circular, or encourage its users to in their work.
From Makespaces and Fab Labs to libraries and coworking spaces, we’ll be developing circular guidance, inspiration, signage and more and exploring what platform is the best for this ………
One of the best things about this day is that unlike other “Hack” style events we’re working on open documentatin and projects that have already been started and so will be openly continued further,
Last year with The Great Recovery, we looked at a challenge around Circular Makespaces, this aslo fed into RCA Future Makes Spaces in Redistributed Manufacturing Circular Makespaces research and now…. well we can continue and expand the thinking to include wider types or considerations for community based spaces.
We’ll also be heading to the pub after for some open drinks!
STAY TUNED FOR MORE DETAILS
We need all types of knowledge and skills!
What is OSCE Days?
Open Source Circular Economy Days (OSCEdays) is a global hackathon style event and community to create open resources and possibilities for a global shift towards a waste-free, sustainable and environmentally friendly Circular Economy.
We will be one of 70+ cities across the globe running events between June 9th-13th, connecting different cultures and communities.
People from Industry, Grassroots, Maker & Hacker movements, students, etc. will work together on all kinds of challenges discussing, developing and experimenting with the Open Source Circular Economy.
