Learn to Build Your Own Raspberry Pi Robot Arm

Join the Fab Lab London team on the 1st Octobver for a weekend of fun, building and making your very own Raspberry Pi Robot Arm.

The workshop includes all the materials you’ll need to make a working arm including a Raspberry Pi to take home.  The robot arm is based on a popular proven kit and is capable of complex lightweight tasks. It is an ideal way to learn how to program using the Raspberry Pi.

At the end of the worksop participants will have made their own robot arm and will be able to program their Paspberry Pi to control it using a laptop or PC.

What you will need
Students will need to bring their own laptop/PC (Windows) and don’t forget your laptop charger.

We will provide
A robot arm kit, Raspberry Pi, interface board, battery box/batteries and tools with detailed instructions to assemble the robot arm.

The workshop is being hosted by Mike Jupp is a director of Computing First which delivers innovative computing resources and training to educational institutes across the country.
