Been mulling over a hardware idea but need a kick up the bum to get started? This may get you going. Hardware Academy have teamed up with Intel and have organised a competition to find the best Intel Edison powered project.
10 teams will be chosen to compete based on their idea. They will each be given an Intel Edison kit and eight weeks to make their prototype. The winners will receive £1000 and a 3D printing coupon worth £500 from 3D Hubs!
Intel are looking for creative and genuinely useful projects using the Edison, as well as Intel IoT Gateway, sensors and cloud technology. The project will ideally be an ambitious one and focus on home or office management.
Applications close on 31st August and can be submitted through the competition page.
