Check out: The Smell of Data

In true James Bond style (well kinda), Japanese engineers from the Advanced Institute of Industrial Technology in Tokyo have invented the very first car lock which uses bums as keys.

What they found is that almost every person has a unique bum shape, and using a specially adapted seat and some clever 3D mapping software they were able to create a locking mechanism which when preprogrammed with the owner’s bum can allow or disallow the car from starting.

The engineers boast a 98% success rate, but practicality would be an issue when you consider items in the back pocket, adding a few extra bum pounds or different seating positions.
