Screw vouchers, what I want for Christmas this year is a nostril LED! A tiny circuit board is inserted into the nose to give the wearer the appearance of a cyborg (or just someone with an LED up their nose). Noda Akira is the mastermind behind this epic piece of tech and is shown wearing it in his video.

Like many emerging technologies the purpose of the nostril LED has not yet been discovered, but critics have suggested monitoring of the airways, for one reason or another.

Noda explains that the feeling is similar to having a dry bogie up your nose. Personally, this doesn’t put me off. I’ll be ordering at least two and maybe more for any other facial orifice.
