Check out: Arduino Day 2015

You might be able to cobble together a basic smartphone app for your Arduino project with Phonegap. But if you don’t have the knowhow or patience you’re about to have another option.

Blynk is a service which allows you to create a dashboard of buttons and switches for your phone to control Arduinos and Raspberry Pis.

The beauty of the system is that projects are only required to be internet-enabled. No additional hardware is needed. Just use the provided Blynk libraries to communicate over the internet with the app.

The number of ‘widgets’ is impressive. Even GPS and the device’s accelerometer can be used.

For a mere 20 dollars you’ll receive the Android and iOS app with every widget. And since they’re only raising $10k they’re bound to reach their target.

Go back it now on KickStarter.
