It has now been just over 4 weeks since the good folks over at VirginActive reached out to the blogger community to take part in their #BeYourPersonalBest challenge. I have been running, cycling, jumping, skipping and all that other stuff people would usually do at the gym. This week however was the first time I actually took part in one of the many classes that are provided on a daily basis.
This class was Anti Gravity Yoga (yes men can do yoga) which is the first class of its kind in the UK. “Suspended above the floor, you’ll be free from gravity and able to improve your agility and increase your flexibility in ways you never thought possible”. For an hour I swung and flew through the air (figuratively of course) as the instructor instructed, with a hope of improving my overall balance and stability to complete a Duathlon in a few days.
The class was fantastic as there is always a jovial attitude amongst all staff and members. Stay tuned for the finally!
