Kuratas – The First Gigantic Boardable Robot

Robot lovers – get some tissues. Straight out of Tokyo (where else) is Kuratas – the first boardable robot; half robot, half car.

The 4 meter high robot seats a single person who can not only control it from inside, but remotely via 3G, and a little replica voodoo version.

At 1 million EUR it isn’t cheap, but if you have the dosh you’ve got a range of attachments, each at a price of about 100,000 EUR, which can be added upon purchase.

And yes Batman, it does come in black, as well as 15 other colours and a cup holder (for 80 EUR).
