Have you ever sat in a car, driven through a city and noticed how many insecure WIFI networks there are? Have you ever tried connecting to one? If so you’ve inadvertently taken up war driving. So you may want to consider getting some real hardware. And this is it – the Crane US3 Super WIFi Antenna.

The Crane is capable of picking up a signal from a mile away, albeit in line of sight, but impressive none-the-less. It’s about the size of an average router antenna but has a 15 meter USB cable, perfect for sticking out the car window and attaching to the bumper.

It’s available in the States and is selling for 99.95 USD (64.35 GBP).
